Safety of krylon fusion spray paint

I know many have used krylon fusion spray paint under water. Does anyone know how this paint adheres to say "cage wire". I built my grandma an aviary for parakeets and I'd like to paint the wire black I imagine if fusion is safe for u set water inhabitants thatnita ok for birds to

You might want to hit some bird forums, at least Google Krylon Fusion and bird cages. Parakeets chew, and inevitably they will be ingesting some of the paint.
