my 8'' sailfin pleco was going around the surface upsidedown to eat freeze dried bloodworms. has this ever happened to anyone else?

happens all the time, with numerous species. Sometimes it can be a fact they are not getting enough/right type of food, sometimes it's just a quirk.

I saw this happened last time I had common plecs.:)

upsidedown + eating = good
upsidedown(uncontrolably) + not eating = Bad
upsidedown + not eating + not breathing + smelly = very bad

lmao. ok so thats good then. kool

like I said, theres a possibility that it is doing it because it is not getting enough/correct diet. What are you feeding?

i usually feed it wafers but i feed bloodworms to my rams which it was eating from the top.
