Ok Im having trouble with my sailfin mollies that I have.

I bought 3, 1M an 2Fs one was obviously caring many babies. It was dead within 30Hrs, so I figured it was just bad luck an bought 3 more same ratio 1M 2Fs from another LFS. I got 2 Babies Withing a week then I lost the new M an 2 Fs.

I have the PH above neutral an have added AQ salt to the to the tank. Any ideas of what might be wrong?

female mollies can be mean. sailfins even more from what ive seen. are ur males smaller than ur females? do they look beat up? i would say it could also be the source of where ur getting the mollies. do u have pictures? whats the tank setup like?

The two males were bigger, I did notice the newer Fs picking on the new M so I can atribute his death to the evil women (lol).

Heres a pic of 4 of them. the only one thats still living it the M that has the Black spot Near its Sailfin.

Tank setup is a 29gal, 10Gal wet/dry w a 300GPH pump, 150Watt heater on the sump.

well if they werent beat up when dead i would think the females might have driven them to bump into the glass or the hood. Ive had this happen. are there any other signs of illness?

Could be I had seen the Females chassing the male. nope no sign of any illness. Its kinda funny everything Ive read says to have more Females so the Males wont pick on a certain one to much. An now it looks like the Females are the meaner ones.

ive had a female molly i tried to use as a feeder for some cichlids i had back in the day....she killed the cichlid  that has to tell u something. some females just dont want a male after them they will chase them to death.
