Not a big deal at all, but man are these horny fish. I got 4 today, and the males were going at it with the females 10 seconds after they were in the tank.

interesting. eventually they will be food no? i have seen people keep them with their p's and they are always replenishing the stock, and not to often eaten.

Not sure if they will be eaten or not. Main thing is just to have something swimming in the middle ground of the tank.

Mollies are some horny little buggers always keep more females than males and they will have fry every time you look up.

I've had mollies for 6 months and have allready doubled the amount of mollies in the tank with fry. I am anxiously waiting for the next batch of fry to be born within the next couple of days. Shes pretty big and going to pop any day. Mollies are a lot of fun for beginner fish keepers like me.

I now have some 20 sailfins, with some better looking ones suppose to arrive tomorrow.

i have a pair of lyretail that the female looks really pregnant!!i have them together in a 10 gallon tank, but i need to know what do i need?? filtration?aeration?

To get better responses you should start your own thread, I'll answer this one really quickly though.

You need a sponge filter, and aeration. Some form of floating plant for the fry to hide in would also be good.
