Sajica male or Female?

Can someone please tell me if this is a male or female Sajica? Any advice on how to tell the difference would be extremely helpful also since I am looking to get a mate for this one. Thank you!

Sajica looks female to me, the black smudge creeping up from the vertical band, and bright yellow and blue area in the dorsal.

I have her with one small blood parrot, rams, angel fish, rainbow cichlid, glass catfish one swordtail and Cories. If I just keep her by herself and not get a mate will she remain fairly peaceful in the tank? My tank is a 36 gallon bowfront.

Depends on her personality. If any of the other cichlids are males, she may decide to pair up or test the suitability of the male cichlids in the tank. Just have a plan B if things ever get out of hand.

You can't force cichlids to play nice.
