I believe these are female. Can anyone confirm? Does the yellow in the fins indicate sex?

These two are small. 1 1/2 to 2"

The yellow does not necessarily, no, but a black/blue blotch in the dorsal fin (you can see it, kinda in the bottom picture) does indicate female.

i reacon both female, nice 1s at that anyway, i have 3females and 1 male thats just what i got, i have seen more females any way but you should be able to get another male for them

Yes, it is female.

female... most females will have the yellow and the mals will have red in the fins. (this is most not all)

yea female, most female Archocentrus females have the black blotches on dorsal fin.
