Sajica & T. Pasiones

Well it seems the 55 got redone before the 220.... who would have guessed ??????????

i toke a little road trip over to Roe family aquatics and what do i see ????? i tank with a few cute little Sajica i could not resist so i picked up 1 male and 2 females. Them i turn around and he had a tank FULL of Thorichthys pasiones so i pick up a few of them.

so the 55 now has

3 X Sajica
2 X Thorichthys pasiones

they should look awesome when they grow up

yeah i guess i am .....

i drove about 2 hours today to Roe family aquatics to see if they had any rotkeil but then i spotted the sajica and have to have them. I had a pair from Rapps years ago and loved them.

Sounds like a good mix. That third wheel may have to go once the Saj pair up.

You and me must be on the same page man. I just moved all my Passiones into a 55 with guess what? Sajica. I had the Passiones in with my gymnos because they were being bullied in my other tank. Now everything is nice a peaceful. I'm trying to lower the tank temp a bit though so the Passiones do better over the long run. The tank is at 77 right now and I hope to go down to 76 next week but I don't want the Sajica to get sick.

I just got both of those fish from rapps about 2 weeks ago. Can't wait for them to get big.

driftwood - The pasiones are a meeki group firemouth, not the cooler water helleri group. They would do fine at the 77-80F range.

These are 2 really cool species. Got some Sajica now, havent had the chance to own the pasiones yet.
