I'm setting up a 90 gallon this weekend for my group of F1 gymnogeophagus balzanii from bella union in Uruguay and was wondering if my group of juvenile sajicas could fair well with the balzanii in a 90 gallon. I'd like to have some pairs form for both the sajica and balzanii so don't want it to get too crazy in the tank. I have a group of 6 balzanii and a group of 4 sajica. I for sure have 1 female of sajica and the other 3 look like males, two for sure are. The balzani are too small to sex tight now. So question is, should I just let the balzanii have the 90 to themselves or could I add the group of sajica in their with them. Good idea or bad idea?

My experience with Sajica has been that they are unusually agressive for such small little guys! I kind of don't see a breeding pair of them working with a breeding pair of another fish in a 4' tank. Maybe mine is just an *******, but I have heard from others that theirs are mean as well. If anything give it a shot but keep a close eye on them

Didn't Duanes answer this in another thread for you already? Bad idea, don't do it.
