I have a SAL that's around 14" in a 75 gallon. I decided to rework the tank lessening the stocking and trying to reintroduce some plants (the juvie uaru and festivum pair in with him before decimated any and all plants before). One of the plants I just added has a very obvious snail egg clutch on it. I considered removing it to avoid introducing another snail species (I already have MTS to stir the sand, he doesn't seem to bother them), but if he will enjoy them as an occasional snack, I'll leave them for him.
Other SAL owners, how often do you think a smallish lung like this would feed on small snails like these? I'm probably going to leave the eggs either way as I can easily pull some out for my clowns if they get out of hand in the lungfish tank.
