Jessica, you crack me up! I have two salmon pinks I got when they were half the size of my pinkie fingernail. I used to carry them around in a salt shaker in my purse. They were so tiny, almost transparent. I used to cut the heads off of pinhead crickets to feed them. Sad to say one of them is a male and not looking so great, he's five years old though! You probably know the males are only suppose to live for about 2 years. Like yours was when you rescued it, he's not eating as much now and very thin, he used to be HUGE!! How long have you had yours? Do you know how old it is? Male or female? I will probably give mine to a guy who takes them around schools to teach the kids about spiders and lizards.

Tbh hun if I'm honest, if yours is a male, and going downhill in old age, not eating and losing weight, the worst place for him is where he may be handled, transported from tub to tub, or enclosure to enclosure. This will stress him out so much more and I'll be suprised if he makes through a month of that. I've had mine about 2-3 months now, I've had a look at the spider itself close up, and molts and I'm gonna go with female..but theres no way to know just yet as the molt wasn't a good one.
Males live more around 5 years so yeah hes doing well hun.
From the size I'm guessing mine is around 2-3 years old, but this spid is on the up and up. *fingers crossed*
Try bumping the humidity up for him abit, may help make things a little more comfortable for him. When I got mine in it was on sand..:screwy: I put lots of eco earth and spag moss in his tank and he loves it, I guess that was probably the reason he wasnt eating, but now he fights me for the rats! Good Luck with the little guy (: (well, big guy LOL).

Oscarluvr - At present I have 1 Skeleton Tarantula (have another one coming tomorrow or friday), a Mexican Fire Leg sling, 2 x Chile Roses, 1 x Northern Gold and of course Kingston the Brazilian Salmon Pink!

Me and my boyfriend have been looking at what to get next..I think its gonna be a Blue Fang. I was going to get an adult Goliath Bird Eater, but they sold out so when they are back in I think I'll get one.

Not forgetting the Singapore Blue's!!!:headbang2:headbang2

Sounds like you have a good collection. The guy I'm giving him too isn't going to take him to schools and I don't think he's going to handle him either. He does take spiders to school, but will be leaving this one at home. I just mentioned it because I think he will have a good home.( don't know if his wife is too happy about getting it though) So I think he will be babied and well taken care of.
