anyone keept these bad boys??? i liv in aus so i can get them easier then most of u ove in the US but just wondering! i got 2 mono pbass and a oscar what you think of a salmon tail coz it really hard to get rtc of tsn. so plz let me know what u think

Go for it, Salmon Tails rock! You can keep Berneys with allmost anything (not guppies and neons LOL), but watch the mouth size on Triangular Shields - they can chase down and eat any fish that will fit in their mouth and it is a big mouth. Triangular shields are the prettiest of Aussie salmon cats, but can get fairly big. Thay are slow growing when they get over 30 cm though. Good luck!

im just waiting on the fs to order me ssome in he said that they probly have to be caught wildly!!! so i hope i get some any ideas on were i could get the big breed? (triangular sheild)??? thanks ken
Your lfs will most likely get in arius graeffi, I picked up a 14cm one about a fortnight ago. The supplier told the store owner the collecting season is nearly over so I imagine you'll get one around this size or larger. Carefull while handling them they have a massive barb even at a small size. graeffi get to around 50cm.
