By the Beach!
I was curious what is the natural diet of a SAL in the wild? I know they eat inverts, like snails, but are there any specific species? The reason I ask is I think it would be neat to feed mine its natural diet every now and then. Oh also would you see any problems (like my sal getting hurt) with feeding him inverts? Thanks!!!

Just feed it of whatever you have available as long as it got the right nutritional value. Feeding it with it's own natural diet would be hard as it's not readily available, unless you have someone from SA catching you their natural diet. It will also cost you more. Feeding them invert won't hurt them, it will hurt the invert.:)

True Apple snails are South American if I'm not mistaken...
