I like feeding feeder Mollies to my arowanas.
I'm planning to try to feed them to my aro on weekly basis.
what i usually do is I buy a bag of feeder mollies from the lfs.
I rinse them in tap water, and put them in a bucket of dechlorinated water.
then i dump in a handful of salt. salt concentration should be more than 1 tablespoon per gallon water. I leave them for half hour , then just catch some feeders and trown into my arowana tank. will the salt bath be enough to get rid of some parasites if there are any?
My arowanas main diet are mp, frozen fish and occasionally superworms,
but i also like feeding them mopllies:)

salt will not affect possible internal parasites that they may carry...your arowana will still be at risk for camallanus, worms, etc. They need proper deworming that salt obviously is useless for

thanks :) For internal parasites, I plan to deworm my aro every 2-3 months?
will the salt bath be effective in getting rid of anchor worms and ich?

Best to quarantine the feeders for a while before feeding. You can deworm the feeder first if you want.

+1. Why not just buy a small qt/feeder tank, and treat the mollies for worms and ich in their first?

Why not just feed it pellets?

Make it easy on urself and save ur aro, a main staple of mollies sounds horrible and eventually youll get a sick one. You cant just treat ur aro for ich, ur whole tank will be infected and have thousands of micro eggs

+2 Sacrificing "cool" feedings for a healthy fish is always worth it.
