Salt in freshwater aquariums.. for stress

Does anyone know how much salt to add per gallon to an aquarium to to reduce the stress of the fish and possibly treat disease and parasites??

1 tablespoon per 5 gallons usually does the trick!

Use it for health issues only. No need to add it because a fish is stressed. Check your water parameters before you add something to your tank.
