salt in my severum tank

i have added salt once to the tank but done several water changes since does anyone recomend it is it ok for severums and how often should i add it

i add it if someones beat up or got some scratches

tanks been up for 6 months and no ailments ones tail is a lil split from one chasin the other around alil i was just curious if i should or if theres no reason

As long as the tank is established and theres no major fighting issues. Scrapes, sores, open wounds? Or no major water changes you really don't need it.

if the injuries on fish are minor, like nipped fins, it wouldn't be necessary to add salt.
