Hello!
Is it safe to add rock salt ( no iodine) in stingray's tanks?
I've seen some information about the benefit of that , but I'm not quite sure.
Would like to know your opinion.

Thank's in advance!

Alexandre

Why do you want to add the salt? Is there a health issue with your ray?

Actually, I don't have a stingray yet.
Just learning before I can get one.
I' ve red that salt could prevent some issues like external parasites and fungus.

Anyway, I would be more confident with your opinion!

Thank's for the help!

You can use aquarium salt but i would make sure u dont overdose.... as far as preventing parasites and fungus. You can treat with prazi pro when u get the stingray when hes gets established in the tank to get rid of internal parasites.....keep the water clean and make sure everyone elae in the tank has been treated and you shouldnt need any salt
