How does the ocean maintain a certain amout of salt for the fish to live in? Do the same salinity rules apply for the ocean as aquariums? Is this Possibly Gods work at hand or Is their a scientific reason for the salinity in the ocean being perfect for marine life? Any help is well appreciated, thankyou!

Well fresh water rivers and precipitation help maintain the right levels. Also evaporation in our aquariums make our levels change rather easily but when dealing with such a massive body of water evaporation wont play that important of a role to raise salinity. And fish and coral can tolerate levels from 1.023 to 1.026

okay so since its just such a large body of water the cycle doesnt effect it much. Im sure no one knows how all that salt got there in the first place. Thanks for shedding some light!

Oceans evaporate iinto the clouds. Clouds then rain onto land and into rivers and they flow back into the ocean. Aka auto top off system
