What will happen to my aro if i don't put anti-chlorine and salt in the tap-water tank? Is it possible if i use rain water instate? Anybody here had this experience? :newbie:

You will need to test your rain water for ph and hardness. I have friends that mix rain water and RO water and some salts to make water for his Discus.

I would recomend just using tap water and using declor that has a clorimine neutralizer.

You can always let your water set for 24 to 48 hours and then the chlorine will be gone.

What type of fish do you keep?

In Singapore it is better to put in the Anti-Chlorine or Anti-Chlorinmite as the new water is treated with stronger chemicals. As for the Salt not necessary.

In some areas rainwater is bad news as it collects polutants from airborne smog or is to acidic, or even in a few areas to pure. this last sounds strange but try dropping a cheap fish into distilled water and see what happens.

anyways yeah use dechlorinator for your arow, as for the salt, you dont need it, but it has its benifits.
