what????
If you meant to say; Will aquarium salt kill my plants, in smaller doses, it will not. Do not attempt brackish or saltwater with aquarium salt.
Had to cover two weeks for My manager. My fish time was taken. I think it was ammonia burn. I was working from 8 am to 2 am. I was going to salt the water, pull carbon, and put in new ammo chips. My last big angel has started eating again. One of my small angels top fins has started to look a little ragged. Got me worried. I want my bgk stay in good shape. And my gourami and gaint gourami seem fine lost their spot, only one fish got a spot. All but one of the sick fish I put in a hospital tank died. I feel blind and def serching for the light or waiting for the sickness to run it's course. Please don't roast me I have learned so much scince finding what I call fish face book. thank you.
Do you have photos of the spots? Unless I am mistaken, if the spots are fuzzy looking, then you are looking at bacterial infections here. Ich spots are grainy-looking but bacterial infections are not which are also mistaken for fungal infection most of the time when they are not. Until we can identify the exact issue, I would never suggest going with salt. If it is bacterial infection, stick to a combination of Maracyn and Maracyn 2 which are erythromycin and minocycline respectively. Your other option is tetracycline but it will not work with a very high pH hovering over 7.5.
My ph is around 7.4. The one spot on my gourammi went away. Was not ich I keep my water warm. Have not done anything but water changes and filter cleaning yet.
