Salt question

Ok i need to add some salt to one of my q tanks to heal a fish. I have to time right now to go out. So i have around the house watersofter salt n rocksalt (used on contrect to make it look... Idk what the name of the finish) need info on this

Fungus big white thing growing on his side.. Should i follow the same rules? Or place it in a sealed cap with holes?

This isn't fungus. True fungal infections are very rare. What your fish has, is bacterial infection. Use Maracyn for this one.

Wth is that??? I cant get new aid for him for another week.. It almost looks like ripped skin but on the out side. Is that med safe for another q fish?? His on bad behavior

Is the other fish suffering from the same condition as well? If it is healthy, then don't treat that fish. Keep this problematic one in another tank and treat separately.

I was told at work rock salt n watersoften salt are the same thing. So i went out back to find some that i had in it was dirty. I have a mess load of this stuff but its not clean more dirty. Ive seeen ppl put them in cops with lids

Rock salt here is table salt, not water softener salt. Water softener salts do nothing but only increase KH. You don't want this one. You don't need salt anyway at this moment. Just focus on antibiotics.
