my aro recently suffered some damage and today i noticed on my ck what looks like my pleco thought he was a lollipop. i bought some aquarium salt and it says to use 1 rounded tablespoonful per 5g, my tank is 90g so am i to use 18 tablespoons? this seems like alot of salt to me but i have never used it before. i am going to do a 50%w/c with stress coat before adding the salt. how long should i wait before another w/c?

I know that sounds like a lot of salt but 1 tbsp per 5 g is good. It helps to dissolve it i a pitcher of water before adding though. just follow your usual water change program and only replace the salt for what water you remove. That level of salt is a good maintainance level.

_some damage?_

If there's bleeding involved you may need more than just salt. Shieldex might be a better choice for slime coat. Aquatronics used to make something like Shieldex but with an antibiotic included. I don't remember the name, sorry. If the fish would let you handle it, iodine on the wound would be beneficial too.
