Well I have had saltwater for about 25 years off and on but I am thinking of going back to fresh. I have had freshwater for about 30 years off and on. My saltwater reef is setup in the basement (sports room) as a partition (3 side) display. I think I am going to tear it down and set it up freshwater with a devil or dovii. Most likely a devil because it is 75 gal. I had a devil 30 years ago that would come over and check out my hand while I was cleaning the gravel and such but would try to take off anyone elses hand. I have had 3 albino oscars before that would lay down in my palm when I was cleaning but again I was the only one. That was pretty cool. Anyone else had personable fish like that but were supposed to be nasty. Ever heard of anyone being able to stick there hand in a tank with a full grown male dovii and still have all their digits. My avatar is of a 5" male dovii I had a while back but had to get rid of when I moved. He was kinda persoable but still young.

I've had devils that would let me clean the tank. My father had a really psychotic devil when I was a kid that wouldn't tolerate anything but a heater in its tanks. Drew blood on the old man twice. As a child I was actually scared of that fish lol
