Salt Water Drift Wood

I found 2 things of salt water drift wood and they have been in the sun for about 2 weeks. Right now i have one soaking in fresh water and im just going to do water changes in it every day. Should that be ok to go in my fresh water tank or should i just not risk it?

i whoudn't! but if you must put them in fresh water for at least 2 weeks, and chage the water constantly, if its moving whater it works better, so put a jet in the water... only then i'd go for it. good luck

unless you have big stong fish, in that case, a little bit of salt whould only help, but not too much..
