ok so my 120 used to be a salt water tank so we cleaned everything as much as we could with vinegar and have been doing 100% water changes so obviously there will be a little salt left in the water from the filters where some salt wont come off so will this be ok for my oscar silver dollars and if my pleco desides to suck on it will it make him sick? i spent a lot on him and dont want to lose any of my fish so thanks!

You didn't include the possibility it could simply be calcium deposits. Should be fine for use to your FW fish though.
