Not sure if this belongs here. anyway, I use aquarium salt in my tanks. Is there a magical way for the salt to transfer to the underneath of the bottom pane of glass?

Dripping and splashing during feeding, etc. will cause some salt-laden water to enter the space between the lower plastic trim and the glass. From there, it seems to capillary further underneath the bottom plate. After drying, salt crystals appear. I see the same thing on my 150 gallon Dat tank. When they want attention, they splash.
