Salting

Hi guys I am about to get an 2nd red arowana and a Motoro ray and was wondering how much sat can I safely put in the tank? The tank is cycled.
Is 0.1% salt ok? As per the calculator on this forum?

What is the purpose of dosing salt? Safe to about 0.3% to 0.5% but usually only if the fish is sick or injured.

Purpose is to give extra slimes coating as new new environment, "new water" and just generally concerned as my first monster fish

In that case there is really no need for the salinity. If the tank if properly cycled, everything else should be all right.

Thanks all, I have not added salt. I have two tanks a 110 Gal and a 85 Gal. The fish seem happy. I have an Arowana and Motoro in the 110gal.
