Salts and Liquids

Are you using these salts to keep your p.h. and hardness up or just because you think it will benefit the fish. Is your water hard out of the tap. I would try to get some limestone rock(Texas Holey Rock) as this is muchafert to keeping the p.h. and hardness stable.

the only time I ever kept info on a tank was when I had saltwater. All my fresh tanks were/are just reg water with the water change and additive.

One day decided to try out Thera P and Special Blend which turned out great but arent buffers with "elements" from the areas, they not even buffers. So now Im trying out the salts or liquids that supposedly have them.

never saw or see anyone do any kind of review on em. Ask some shop people but not much help.

Never used them, I have used vinegar to adjust ph for a couple breeding tanks as a trigger, and lime water to adjust hardness and ph to do the same with pupfish.

I have used Sea chem buffer a lot. It always specs out to do just what it said it would. If you need buffers, they are great in my book. I used them when I had dwarf imbunas
