I read that black nasties can be acclimated to saltwater. That they have been found in full saltwater. I was wondering if anyone here has done it before?

Nandopsis Haitiensis and Teracanthus as well as Mayans and Vieja Maculicauda can tolerate full marine conditions.

Did you read of any cases? If so do you mind sending me a link? I have a black nasty about two inches long, and was hoping to put him in my saltwater tank. I'm afraid I'll kill him.

Don't kno what a Black Nasty are but I've read Black Belts have been found in sea water.

The scientific name is Nandopsis haitiensis.

Try it and monitor it closely, there is a video on YouTube of a flower horn in a saltwater tank, I don't remember what I searched for or I'd find it again. But I do know seeing a black nasty with a trigger and lion fish would def be on my must see list!

I've never tried it myself Johnny, but I'm sure it can be done. I would still get him used to it gradually. Here's the link:
