saltwater pond

Anything is possible :)

I forgot who said this in a thread "You have to pay to play"...I currently live by the quote...and probably every person on mfk.

If I did my math right, that would be around 1900 gallons. Pour in a little under 11 5 gallon buckets of Instant Ocean and you have a salt water pond.

The difficulty would be in keeping the salinity right due to evaporation. You would have to have some sort of system for fresh water top off.

I've seen salt water ponds before. There is a koi place near here who converted one of their stock tanks over to a salt pond and he has coral, fish, inverts, the works in there...

Also they make auto top off systems...

the pond has to have a roof over it otherwize as you stated the salinty would drop to low the other issue you will have is heating unless you decide to keep coldwater animals, i currently have outdoor salt pond it has a roof over and is 4000liters i use 3 300 watt heaters 24/7 in winter to keep water at 23% cel . my electricity bill is horrendous

Exactly there is a roof over it...
