So I'm in Hawaii an ate at a restaurant that had a outdoor saltwater pond. It looked about 2 to 3 ft deep an was about 50ft by 75 ft long. It had 3 huge stingrays some cool saltwater fish and a 3.5 to 4 ft hammerhead shark. So was wondering anyone else have similar setup or saltwater pond? And what would this entail compared to fresh water would it be hard to control / maintain ?

I wouldn't want a saltwater pond.. Heck freshwater ponds are only good with big fish.. Saltwater fish are for colors and stuff I don't think you would get the same effect it would have to be deep enough to completely dive in with your own reef!

IMO

I've been curious about the same thing. I actually have a pond that is about half an acre and have been wondering how many tons of salt it would take to convert to a saltwater pond. It would be nearly impossible, but very cool :) GL with everything

I saw a cool one once that had the only school of look downs I've ever seen in an aquarium. That was a sight. Probably a dozen 18"+ fish cruising around a big round pond in somwbodies greenhouse
