I would say you can never have to much filtration. As long as you have the room and make sure detritus doesn't accumulate you'll be fine.
you should be fine. Usually with salt you can get away with under filtering your tanks. But yea there isnt really ever a posibility to "over" filter ur tank... I mean I could plug in 5 Fx5s to my 180.... The only problem would be current lol
