Triggerfish, Humu with montipora plate corals is it safe to have them in same tank? About to start a 75 gallon tank and need to know. Are they safe with hard corals, Thank you..

montipora and triggers not a good idea - they sharpen their teeth on corals also sps monti's are terrible beginner corals as are lps plates

I have a small Niger triggerfish in my 75 gallon reef- I don't think montiporas are a good choice with triggers. It may try to sharpen it's teeth on it. If you do get a plate coral, I would wait a bit since they are pretty delicate. Keep in mind that it will outgrow a 75 gallon.
