live sand, buffers, test kits, hydrometer, coral, hard work is in a nano tank. i have learned the bigger the better.

i set up a 29 biocube for about 700, but i also bout the stand which was like 200 on it's own and the tank was either 250 or 300

say about 20# of LR at $7 a pound ($140)
20# of LS (~$30)
20 gallon of premixed SW- $20
extra powerhead and heater -$40

a 55 would be ALOT more money cause then you'd have to buy the lights...
are you trying to make a reef tank or just a FO or FOLWR?
