well my saltwater livestock died off and i decided not to restock while my canister filter was new and i had a buyer for my live rock and sand.
I took the canister filter back to the store and they gave me a refund drained the tank and rinsed off everything i still have a filter that i started with it's just a cheap eheim h.ob.
question one
do i need to replace filter media (2 carbon pad's and 2 sponge pad's)
should i clean the tank with vinegar ?
there is some stray thin sand left in the tank i scraped out what i could would this be a problem ?
