Last time I posted I was cycling my 65 gallon with the accidental overdose of NH3, thought I should show where I am at now! Took a long break from fish keeping, jumped back in doing salt for the first time and having a blast.

Red Sea Max C-250 (65 Gallon) is all set up. Still deciding on lighting, its set up for T5 but after checking out LEDs I want to move that way, we shall see. I have a very well behaved damsel, 2 clowns and 2 fire gobys in there.

20 Gallon Long, I have the LED system on, growing some corals along with 2 damsels. Still upgrading the LED lighting.

Have a lot going on, just trying to take it nice a slow, nothing good ever comes fast in reefing.

Thanks for viewing!

Update again! Blue lighting apparently makes Iphone pictures suck! Pics are not the best.

Decided to do the 20L as an anemone and clownfish tank. Moved the two clowns over there and added a bubble tip anemone. The nem is still hiding after 4 days, he is moving around however, clowns are fine! "Uprgaded" to a Marsaqua "Chinese black box" LED for more PAR and great price! Moved the corals from the 20L to the 65.IMG_1226.JPG

Added the T5s to the 65 and added various corals and some new fish! Once everyone is QT I will post more pictures of them.

Hey everyone! I have some updates for you!

Have the tank stocked with corals the way I want it I believe lol. I had to move all the fish to a QT tank as I skipped QTing a fish and caused an ich outbreak, ugh live and learn. I never QT with freshwater and didnt realize how big of a pain going fallow is!! So fish will be put back in in about two months.

I started auto dosing which fun and a little scary. Dosing alkalinity, calcium, nitrate and phsophate. The reason for the last two is my nutrients keep bottoming out and I have been having trouble with dinos. They are receding quickly now after keeping nutrients up and adding UV sterilizer. No matter how much I feed I cannot keep PO4 from 0. So dosing once an hour all day trying to keep it steady!

Seeing some amazing growth in some corals. The green acan is sprouting new heads like crazy! And my hammer is starting another head. Very exciting to see growth like this!!
