saltwater ?

i know nothing about salt. I have an eclipse 2 that i am selling, and guy wants do do a little saltwater. Can this system supprt it? Will not sell to him if not. Thank you

No. Bulbs will not help any. Without significant upgrades you cant do a reef tank in that aquarium.

LOL maybe as the exception rather than the rule. Even most LPS are going to die with crappy 15watt bulbs. Plus the question was not about LPS specifically it was about coral in general.

Selling an eclipse2 system to someone that asks if it will support coral is very dishonest and though you can give a few examples of things that will work it is clearly dishonest in the spirit in which the question is asked.

True but i could support some LPS. Maybe thats all the guy wants to do. Im sure if the guy doesnt know if an eclipse could handle a reef he wouldnt be doing anything drastic for his corals.... thus maybe it could work out with no issues for him. Otherwise yes your correct.
