Ok, I am finally setting up my 40gal breeder tank as a salt tank! and I need someones help, I cant put a sump on it cause how its on a dresser but I do need a filter and would a fx5 work or what do you guys think would be best? I thought the fx5 would be best bet but not too sure. And help?

if u cant do a sump i would recommend a hang on refugium and i hang on skimmer. or u can get a hang on refugium with a built in skimmer. then add a few powerheads for circulation.
if u dont want a refugium(i dont see why u wouldnt) then just use a good skimmer and powerheads.
this is just my opinion, i wouldnt use a canister on a salt tank. u have to clean them out all the time or will have high nitrate problems. there are some people that do use canisters on salt though.
