does any Aussies on here know the availability of either of these 2 fish in Brisbane?

I've not seen one salvini thus far while looking around and have only seen one pet shop that had blue acaras.

Thanks,
David

Pet city in mt gravatt usually has both of them in stock all the time.If they don't it wouldn't be very long before they get them in.
Aquarium Wharehouse on compton road usually carries sals

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would answer it just incase as no one else has.

thx GT, I've been to petcity a few times and thats where i've seen the blue acaras, although i've never seen a salvini there, so maybe i'll have to look a bit harder next time. thx for the reply though.

I might have to check out the place on compton road, and if all else founds my LFS in wynnum who set me up with the guy to get my tank, is willing to get in anything i want if i still can't find them :)

do u live on north or south side
as if you live on north i have a few lfs and one of them is bound to store blue acras and salvinis. if u wanted i can call em up tommorow for ye

i'm on the south side @ wynnum just near the gateway bridge. Usual fish shops i go to are petcity mt gravatt, one @ clayfield and my local one. There used to be a really good store @ capalaba called kool pets but its gone now :(

the clayfeild one is great. there is one just a few roads away from that one(its called atlas aquarium. its on rode road. go there and they might have some there

Pet City,Pet country,Aquarium Wharehouse are my favourites.Wetpetz on old cleveland rd has been getting some good oddballs lately.
Pet country usually has salvinis too on kingston rd.There not far from Aquarium Wharehouse.Southside Pet Barn on Underwood Rd (not far from Pet City)is worth a try.

i used to live near brisbane, the best way to get fish is to just ask them to get them in for you. sometimes you can pick a fish up for a lot less because they dont have to feed it and store it.
