So i just uploaded a vid of the tank, and 5 minutes later i turn around and see my "rescued" 8" salvini going at it with the GT.

I guess he must be feeling better, haha.

Cool video. I like how the female salvini was flaring her gills and trying to strike sometimes. By the way, the male salvini looks more ike 5-6 inches rather than 8 inch.

i measured him, he's 20,2cm's head to tail, according to google that's roughly 8"

Thanks :)

Yeah, i was pretty stunned when i saw him aswell..

My guess is he's pretty old, since he didn't exactly come from the best of conditions

what tank size do u have them in?

way too many fish in there are those 2 texans in the bg that alone is enough for that tank let alone a full grown GT, What is that tank size a 30 - 40 gallon you need atleast a 75-125 for those fish to be in there when they get bigger

It's a 425Liter tank.

According to google that's 112Gallons

It's not a very long tank, i'll give you that, by i like my tanks overstocked

Your Sal should start to look better once he settles in some (if conditions you rescued him were that bad). If those Sals start to breed, you will need to act fast or you could realistically lose alot of fish in a hurry. All in all, good rescue!
