Salvini Breeding Experience Needed

I was thinking of attempting a pair of salvinis in my community 125g ca/sa tank. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? Were they aggressive or just defensive of the breeding site? Do they tend to breed faster (convict status) or slower...?

Thanks for anytime given. I am in no rush as I have my 30 gallon grow out tank cyclin a way.

I have not bred them,but I did have a female kill a male.I have bred other CA cichlids,imo community setting will be torture to the tank mates.sals are tough fish,I don't see them letting tankmates rest

Thanks for the advice. I was concerned with their attitude but I wasn't exactly sure their breeding temperaments. Right now I got a convict that wants so badly to breed with FM I have and it just cracks me up to watch him get denied all day long... but on the other hand he is incredibly vicious because of this.
