salvini cichlids

what do you guys think about salvini cichlids....and are they pretty easy to breed...like ive heard they're close to as easy as cons to breed...im either getting a pair of salvini's....a pair of cons...or a GT for my 55..what would you guys do

Go Salvini. They amazing colors and so do GT's.IMO Salvini have more color. Scratch the cons. I heard Salvini's are on an average difficulty to breed as Cons just don't stop. Although the GT would be a nice wet pet.

sals are amazng liitle fish they are reffered to as the mini guapote...so they can get really aggressive

Sals all the way. A lot more to observe behaviorally than a "wetpet" tank and more aesthetic appeal than cons.

Sals are already my favorite after only owning one for about a month. Here is a bad picture of the male I just got. Hopefully he will make friends with the female already in the tank. They are in a 55.

I love salvinis My male went from 1.5" to over 6" in 8 months. Amazing colors. I love them.

They are pretty easy to keep, breeding can be a problem though, as gettin a pair can be difficult at times. My male killed three females before i finally got a compatible pair. Oy it sucked!! AWESOME colors though, and LOTS of spunks!
