sounds silly but is it possable for a salvini to breed with a jack dempsey as pick this fish up at lfs to as it was all by itself does not have colour of sal but the face looks like one and the colours of a jd so just seeing if i am right and it is a cross breed

From what I've seen both sal and JD will easily cross brred with other breeds, so it's very much possible.
i actually was given a cross just like that by the lfs a few weeks ago. it got killed before i could take pics. Not a fan of hybrids but it was cool looking and free. salvini body with the spangling of a jd and barring of a jd on its forehead. I've also had sals breed with some escondidos in the past. don't know what they would have looked like.
