Can they live together, yes, it depends, or def. not?

I really really like the salvini but this beautiful 3" red dragon FH was available at a LFS for only around $50 (they usually go for like $100-300 here) and I couldn't resist  lol

I just don't want it to kill my baby female salvini that was so hard to get (had to order 8 fish to get 1 female). I saw a video on youtube of a FH breeding w a female salvini.

Should work, at least for a good while. Especially in that sized tank. Salvini are pretty scrappy. Just keep an eye on the FH as it grows. Anything else in the tank?

Yeah... a small school of clown loaches and a female blue acara... she was a breeding pair with the male in my avatar but he died for no reason. And some shrimps that I introduce regularly for cleaning but they always end up being eaten lol. They're all juvenile between 1" and 4", biggest are the FH/Acara.

Hmm your tank has lots of hiding spaces as well. IMO, it should work. Keep a look out on your tank though. Good luck.
