salvini fry

my salvinis finally spawned ,i came in today and there was a cloud of fry swimming around with the parents while everyone else hid.
i put up a divider and got some hikari first bites.
the tank really needs a water change but i heard if you freak the parents out they may eat the fry.
any advice on raising these guys? i want to let the parents do it but i guess at some point they should be seperated.

actually it matters if the parents decide to eat them or nurture them is this your first span


if it is your should see if they eat the fry or not (if you want to risk it) if they don't.... you may have a good pair rite there.
