Salvini & GT?

I just purchased a 3inch GT about 3days ago and now looking to get a tank mate for him..was looking into gettin a Salvini but I wasnt sure if they'll be okay together in the long run..they'll be going into a 75G tank..

They should be ok together for life.

Keep a close eye on them. My juvies fought it out when they were both 3" and I found my female Salvini stuck in a powerhead when I got home from work. The GT killed her I'm sure. Here's a couple pics of them back in Feb when I got my 90 set up.

Right on! it is nice to see folks from the area. And THANKS! Yeah that Sal was fantastic. Man I wish I coulda seen her full grown. Keep trying to find another like her but haven't seen one since.

She was messing with the GT pretty bad and was asking for it IMO.

Know of any Cichlid or Aquarium Clubs near us?? I gotta get hooked up with some folks to see if I can find a replacement. Also...Got my best fish (left) from Tropical Fish Emporium in Auburn. The guys name is Roy and he really is awesome. Lots of great fish in there, and they quarantine everything before they sell. Check em out
