salvini hybrids??

i have a salvini that just laid eggs but the only other tank mates are a texas a demps and an oscar could any of these breed??? thanks for all insight

Uh....i have no clue if any of those could produce fertile eggs, have any of the other fish been guarding the eggs with the salvini? I'd say your best guess would be the jack dempsey.

I've had a Dempsey hybridize with a Salvini... I suspect the Texas could... The Oscar definitely could not...

Are the eggs white or tan?

If all the eggs are white they are unfertilized... if they are between light brown and dark pink they are fertilized...

she may have just laid eggs and they are unfertilized, but if there were to be wrigglers, your most likely suspect is the Texas . . .

after that, maybe the Dempsey . . . leave the Oscar out of the equation tho' . . .
