Type 1. Males get a hump and this make is 2 years old and 7". He gets a hump when breeding. Female is very gold/yellow. The first hals of the dorsal fin is black unlick most Salvini females which only get a black dot. The is the only Salvini I have seen that would spawn in open water on flat rocks in the pond. Thet are also an open water preditor and spen more time in open water than other Salvini's. Very cool fish..

Type 2
Male
Male is a fat fish. Pic was 2 years old and he was 6" at the time. Not alot of color except when spawing them he turned yellow, black and red. Female had alot of color. Turned very yellow with a large black center bar with the rest of the body blood red.
Both fish are in non spawing colors in the video and pics.
