I have always wanted a salvini and my lfs finally got some juveniles in. I never kept them and was wondering if anyone has advice on temperment and tankmates. He will be going into a 75 gallon with a breeding pair of cons, juvenile texas, and a juvenile jack dempsy. Any info or advie would be appreciated. Thanks.

They generally make great tankmates in most community settings.
Keep in mind though, that they carry some rather large teeth, and if you get a particularly pissy individual you will potentially have a bloodbath on your hands..
But generally, they should be a fine addition to your tank.

Just post in the regular CA&SA forum when it comes to questions and such.
They can def hold their own and then some. One of the fastest fish I have ever owned too... I can never re-catch them, lol. Beautiful colors!!!
