Yea I'm thinking so. The joke thing is the salvini is 4" the parrot 6". And there bullying a 10" oscar, 7" jag, 8" lemur catfish, 6" red devil, 12" pleco, 6" musk turtle.

Salvinis are mini monsters, especially when breeding. This could be that they will pair up.

There both displaying breeding aggression but not breeding behaviour. What strange fish they would produce? Lol

I miss my Lima catfish, when they get freaked out they shed a slime layer and other fish try and eat it. so awesome.
It sounds like standard cichlid pairing behaviour to me, good luck with them! you should see some eggs soon if youre lucky

Yea my oscar is covered in it lol. Two of my convicts bread in my other tank, my fire eel must of tried too eat the eggs they killed it. That was a very sad day! If the parrot an salvini spawn ill divide the tank.
