I got this girl? last Saturday from the lfs, it was sold to me as female. I am not very familiar with this species and was hoping someone can help me out

Female. Aggressive when breeding. They prefer to hang out underneath floating plants or decor. The females are typically more colorful than the males.

You can tell a female from a male by a black splotch in the dorsal fin.

That's a nice female. How big? These guys are nasty. My pair wiped out a school of giant danios overnight. Make sure to do research.
